Final Logo Design for EGMSD

Here is my final logo design for the Environment, Geography & Marine Sciences Department. This project was a great opportunity to design a logo that may be printed on t-shirts, hats, flyers and brochures, so I listened closely when the department asked for a simple logo. I thought to myself, what could be more simple than an individual line that defines their department of different yet similar studies. I included West Rock, a stream of water, and New Havens lighthouse to show how EGMSD is based in New Haven, Connecticut. The color I used in the logo title is also the same blue used in SCSU's logo.
